Sculpting a tiger for use in embossing

Add relief files on top of each other on an interacting stack of relief layers, emboss reliefs onto 3D models, scale, rotate and move them freely. Multiple Layers enable you to try many different ideas without the need to remodel anything. The Emboss Tool also allows you to take a full 3D model, postition it and then transform it into an embossed low-relief adding additional perspective.

Sculpting to Repair Models...

This sculpture was created by Paul Brown, a Birmingham-based (UK) sculptor.

Sculpture by Paul Brown - a UK based artist

Unfortunately the bust did not cast well leaving a crack down the side of the face. Using a scanning machine, a high-resolution STL file was created and imported into Delcam's artistic CADCAM software, ArtCAM Pro. Using ArtCAM 2012's sculpting features this crack and other sculpting imperfections were smudged, smoothed and erased from the model.

Using ArtCAMs sculpting tools to repair imperfections then emboss onto a model

To show how this model can then be used for other applications, the ArtCAM team embossed it to create a coin design.
