ArtCAM provides: a flexible drill bank strategy for simultaneous drilling (ideal for cabinet makers); creates inlays and nests items according to their true shape, whilst allowing for wood grain direction. Previously defined machining strategies, cutting tools and machining parameters from imported DXF and PDF files are all calculated.
I have tried other products but rely on ArtCAM as most of my work is design, cutting pockets and inlays. The competitions process has many steps and is very time consuming.
