ArtCAM gives you the freedom to begin your 2D artwork either directly in the software or by importing drawings or file formats such as DXF, PDF, AI or DGK into ArtCAM, whilst preserving their layer information.
Designs can then be quickly created or edited with ArtCAM’s range of vector tools. To prevent machining issues, ArtCAM can clean up any artwork containing loops or open vectors.
When making my table, the node editing and the various options to manipulate the nodes were really useful. Without the vector doctor I would have had a lot of problems later-on when I was machining.
