To help with the design or approval stages, ArtCAM can render a variety of materials as well as calculate the weight of the material. This is particularly useful when pricing pieces for your clients.
You can then save the model as a rotatable 3D PDF which can then be e-mailed to the customer for approval.

A great tool from ArtCAM is the material weight calculator. With a large model, being able to calculate the weight of combined castings allows me to scale the model to get it within our costumers’ price point.
