Relief Height Analysis Tool in ArtCAM Pro and JewelSmith
To ensure that your coin design is suitable for manufacture, ArtCAM Pro and ArtCAM JewelSmith come with a live Relief Analysis tool that enables you to check both the side angles and heights of your relief artwork.
This tool lets you to choose colours to represent areas of the relief artwork that fall within a specific parameter, for example for relief heights you might choose: up to 0.5mm as green, 0.5mm to 1mm as yellow and over 1mm as red.
This will enable you to instantly visualise parts of your design that require change before continuing along the production line. Whilst in this mode, you can use the sculpting tools to amend the offending areas all in real-time.
